DTC Description Action
U0001:88 High Speed CAN Communication Bus: Bus Off A HS-CAN  fault was present at a point in time. The fault is not currently present since the module is communicating with the diagnostic scan tool. CLEAR the DTC  . REPEAT the network test with the diagnostic scan tool. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK for schematic and connector information.
U0004:00 High Speed CAN Communication Bus (+) Low: No Sub Type Information A HS-CAN  fault was present at a point in time. The fault is not currently present since the module is communicating with the diagnostic scan tool. CLEAR the DTC  . REPEAT the network test with the diagnostic scan tool. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK for schematic and connector information.
U0005:00 High Speed CAN Communication Bus (+) High: No Sub Type Information A HS-CAN  fault is present but the network may still be functional at a degraded level. One or more modules may not communicate and may not be sending or receiving messages. GO to PINPOINT TEST Z 
U0007:00 High Speed CAN Communication Bus (-) Low: No Sub Type Information A HS-CAN  fault is present but the network may still be functional at a degraded level. One or more modules may not communicate and may not be sending or receiving messages. GO to PINPOINT TEST Z 
U0008:00 High Speed CAN Communication Bus (-) High: No Sub Type Information A HS-CAN  fault was present at a point in time. The fault is not currently present since the module is communicating with the diagnostic scan tool. CLEAR the DTC  . REPEAT the network test with the diagnostic scan tool. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK for schematic and connector information.
U0009:00 High Speed CAN Communication Bus (-) Shorted to Bus (+): No Sub Type Information A HS-CAN  fault was present at a point in time. The fault is not currently present since the module is communicating with the diagnostic scan tool. CLEAR the DTC  . REPEAT the network test with the diagnostic scan tool. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK for schematic and connector information.
U0010:88 Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus: Bus Off A MS-CAN  fault was present at a point in time. U0013:00 Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus (+) Low: No Sub Type Information A MS-CAN  fault is either currently present or was present at a point in time. The BCM  can report this DTC  while a fault is present because the BCM  communicates with the diagnostic scan tool on the HS-CAN  . If no MS-CAN  modules communicate, GO to PINPOINT TEST AA  If all MS-CAN  modules currently communicate, CLEAR the DTC  . REPEAT the network test with the diagnostic scan tool. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK for schematic and connector information.
U0014:00 Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus (+) High: No Sub Type Information A MS-CAN  fault is present but the network may still be functional at a degraded level. One or more modules may not communicate and may not be sending or receiving messages. GO to PINPOINT TEST AA 
U0016:00 Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus (-) Low: No Sub Type Information A MS-CAN  fault is present but the network may still be functional at a degraded level. One or more modules may not communicate and may not be sending or receiving messages. GO to PINPOINT TEST AA 
U0017:00 Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus(-) High: No Sub Type Information A MS-CAN  fault is either currently present or was present at a point in time. The BCM  can report this DTC  while a fault is present because the BCM  communicates with the diagnostic scan tool on the HS-CAN  . If no MS-CAN  modules communicate, GO to PINPOINT TEST AA  If all MS-CAN  modules currently communicate, CLEAR the DTC  . REPEAT the network test with the diagnostic scan tool. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK for schematic and connector information.
U0018:00 Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus (-) Shorted to Bus (+): No Sub Type Information A MS-CAN  fault was present at a point in time. The fault is not currently present since the module is communicating with the diagnostic scan tool. CLEAR the DTC  . REPEAT the network test with the diagnostic scan tool.
