| Selector lever (PRNDL) status | PCM | The automatic transmission provides the PCM with the selector lever status. The PCM only energizes the starter relay if the selector lever is in PARK or NEUTRAL. |
| Starter crank request | BCM | Provides the PCM with ignition switch and hood input status and a request to crank and start the engine during a remote start event. |
| Power mode | BCM | Provides the PCM with ignition mode. |
