Pinpoint Test A: B1319:11
- A1 RETRIEVE AND RECORD ALL DTCS
- Using the diagnostic scan tool, retrieve all DTCs.
Is DTC B1319:11 present?
- Yes : CLEAR the DTC. If the DTC returns, Go to A2
- No : REFER to SYMPTOM CHART .
- A2 CHECK THE BRAKE SHIFT INTERLOCK ACTUATOR POWER CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND
- Ignition OFF.
- Disconnect Floor Shifter C3245 .
- Disconnect BCM C2280C .
- Inspect for damaged or pushed-out terminals.
- Measure.
Positive Lead Measurement/Action Negative Lead C3245-12 Ground
Is the resistance greater than 10, 000 ohms?
- Yes : Go to A3
- No : REPAIR the circuit.
- A3 CHECK THE BSIA POWER CIRCUIT FOR VOLTAGE
- Connect BCM C2280C .
- Ignition ON.
- Apply the brake pedal.
- Measure.
Positive Lead Measurement/Action Negative Lead C3245-12 Ground
Is voltage greater than 8.0 volts?
- Yes
: INSTALL a new selector lever.
Refer to: SELECTOR LEVER ASSEMBLY .
- No : REPAIR the circuit.
