DTC Description Action
P0512 Starter Request Circuit CARRY OUT the Ignition Switch component test. Refer to Component Testing . If necessary, INSTALL a new ignition switch. REFER to Steering Column Switches . If the ignition switch passed the component test, REPAIR circuit CDC35 (BU/WH) for a short to voltage.
P06E9 Engine Starter Performance If the engine cranks, REFER to Engine Controls - Introduction (Except Diesel & Hybrid) . If the engine does not crank, for vehicles without push button start, GO to Pinpoint Test A . For vehicles with push button start, GO to Pinpoint Test B .
P0706 Transmission Range Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance REFER to Automatic Transmission 6F50/6F55 or REFER to Automatic Transaxle Transmission 6F35 .
P0708 Transmission Range Sensor "A" Circuit High REFER to Automatic Transmission 6F50/6F55 or REFER to Automatic Transaxle Transmission 6F35 .
P1594 Forced Engine Shutdown - Remote Start System Fault, No Unattended Vehicle Timeout GO to Pinpoint Test H .
P1595 Forced Engine Shutdown - Remote Start System Fault, Transmission Range Not In Park Position GO to Pinpoint Test I .
P161A Incorrect Response From Immobilizer Control Module REFER to Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS), Without Intelligent Access (IA) or REFER to Anti-Theft - Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS), With Intelligent Access (IA) .
P1702 Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Intermittent REFER to Automatic Transmission 6F50/6F55 or REFER to Automatic Transaxle Transmission 6F35 .
P1705 Transmission Range Circuit Not Indicating Park/Neutral During Self Test REFER to Automatic Transmission 6F50/6F55 or REFER to Automatic Transaxle Transmission 6F35 .
P2535 Ignition Switch Run/Start Position Circuit High GO to Pinpoint Test G .
All Other DTCs - REFER to Electronic Engine Controls .
