Main Control Cover: Installation

  Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

  NOTE: Install the studbolts in the locations noted during removal.

  Install the main control cover and the fasteners.

  Torque

  : 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

  Attach the wiring harness retainers and connect the electrical connector.

1.6L 

• 4.
  
  Install the CAC tube.

  • 1.
    
    Install the CAC tube and nut.

    Torque

    : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

  • 2.
    
    Tighten the clamps.

    Torque

    : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

  • 1.
    
    Install the bracket and the nuts.

    Torque

    : 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

  • 2.
    
    Position the coolant hose, wiring harness and attach the coolant hose retainer, the wiring harness retainers.

• 6.
  
  Position the CAC hose and tighten the clamp.

  Torque

  : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

  Connect the wiring harness and the upper coolant hose retainers.

  Fill the transmission with transmission fluid. REFER to: Transmission Fluid Drain and Refill
