| C1B00:49 | Steering Angle Sensor: Internal Electrical Failure | CHECK vehicle service history for recent service actions related to the SCCM. This DTC sets due to incomplete or improper flash programming procedures. If there have been recent service actions with the SCCM, REPEAT the programming procedure as directed by the diagnostic scan tool. If there have been no recent service actions, CLEAR the DTC, CYCLE the ignition, CARRY OUT the SCCM self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SCCM to correct the failure to retain software data. |
| C1B00:61 | Steering Angle Sensor: Signal Calculation Failure | This DTC indicates that part of the SCCM has failed internally. CLEAR the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). REPEAT the self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SCCM. |

| C1B00:85 | Steering Angle Sensor: Signal Above Allowable Range | SET the front wheels to the straight ahead position. Using a diagnostic scan tool, OBSERVE the SCCM steering wheel angle (SW_ANGLE) PID. If the PID displays 0 degrees, CLEAR the DTC, REPEAT the SCCM self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SCCM. If the PID displays more than 360 degrees, SET the ignition to OFF. REMOVE the SCCM Leave the electrical connector connected . SET the ignition to ON (this causes Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) to set in multiple modules). Manually ADJUST the SCCM until the SW_ANGLE PID displays 0 degrees. SET the ignition to OFF. INSTALL the SCCM. CLEAR all Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (CMDTCs) in all modules. |

The fault is not currently present since the module is able to communicate with the diagnostic scan tool to report this DTC. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring.
