Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE:
This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
- Download the module information to the diagnostic tool using the Programmable Modules Installation routine. Use the General Equipment: Ford Diagnostic Equipment. Refer to: Module Configuration .
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and position the PCM harness and bracket aside.
- Remove the retainers and the PCM.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
