Use a diagnostic scan tool and VIEW the BCM Minimum number of keys required (MIN_KEYS_RQD) PID. CYCLE the customer's additional key(s) in the ignition to complete the key programming procedure. When less than the minimum keys are programmed, the BCM automatically programs the first 2 keys (or 4 keys dependent on vehicle build) that are cycled in the ignition lock cylinder. |
