Main Control Cover: Installation
- Install the transmission oil drain plug.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

NOTE: The gasket is to be reused unless damaged.
Install a new transmission fluid pan gasket if required.
- Install the transmission main control cover and the bolts.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Install the transmission main control cover studs.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Install the transmission main control cover studs.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure that the component terminals are not bent or damaged.
Connect the main electrical connectors and attach the wiring harness retainers.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Install the transmission main control cover studs.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Install wiring harness retainer bracket nuts to the front cover.
- Attach the wiring harness retainer.
- Install the wiring harness retainers.
- Install the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
- Fill the transmission with transmission fluid. Refer to: Transmission Fluid Drain and Refill .
