This DTC sets if the current on the clockspring tape high power circuit is between 8A and 17A and the resistance ratio crosses the upper or lower threshold. CARRY OUT the SASM Module Reset routine. CYCLE the ignition from ON to OFF and back to ON. CLEAR the DTC and then CARRY OUT the SASM self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM-clockspring assembly. REFER to the appropriate Removal and Installation procedure in Supplemental Restraint System article |
