Parameter Identification (PID): Notes

The PID mode allows access to certain data values, analog and digital inputs and outputs, calculated values, and system status information. Throughout the article, there are references to PID values. PID Data Monitor and Record can be accessed from the scan tool through the Diagnostic Data Link menu.
