Bleeding

NOTE: This bleeding procedure requires the use of a

Bleed Box only available from Multimatic. Contact the Ford GT Concierge to obtain a Bleed Box  from Multimatic.

NOTE: Do not attempt to bleed the power steering system without using a

Bleed Box provided by Multimatic. Damage to the vehicle and components may result.

NOTE: If the air is not purged from the power steering system correctly, premature power steering pump failure may result. The condition can occur on pre-delivery vehicles with evidence of aerated fluid or on vehicles that have had steering component repairs.
  1. Start the engine and manually deploy the rear wing.

    • NOTE: Make sure that this setting is returned to

Auto once the wing is raised to avoid damage to the system and or components.

      Set the wing to

      Raised  in the instrument cluster.

  2. NOTE: Make sure that the area around and under the vehicle is clear.

Cycle the vehicle in and out of

    Track Mode  .
