ROCHESTER Model B Single Barrel: Overhaul: Disassembly
- Remove air horn attaching screws and choke bracket. Lift cover straight up, turn upside down and remove float pin, floats and needle valve. Remove float needle valve seat and gasket.
- Remove metering jet and power valve assembly from main well support. When removing power valve, care must be taken not to loose small spring and check ball. Remove main well support, power piston, spring and gasket from cover.
- Remove throttle kick lever and spring. Hold accelerator pump lever down and remove retainer pin from pump link. Remove pump link and lift pump plunger from bowl. Remove plunger spring.
- Using needle nose pliers, remove pump discharge guide. By turning bowl upside down, check ball and spring will fall from guide hole. Remove throttle body assembly from float bowl. Remove idle mixture screw and spring from throttle body.
