Axle Ratio Identification: Ford

The axle ratio code is stamped on the Vehicle Rating Plate located on the rear face of left door on all model except Bronco. On Bronco models plate is located on the inside panel of glove box door. Models with Spicer (Dana) rear axles have an additional tag bolted to drive axle that contains drive axle ratio code. Code designations are as follows:
