Water Pump: Installation
Clean mating surfaces of water pump and engine block. Using a new gasket, install water pump making sure attaching bolts are tightened uniformly.
NOTE:
On V8 gasoline engines, apply a 1/8" bead of RTV sealer to sealing edges of water pump legs before installing.
