Clearing Trouble Codes

Trouble codes should be cleared when indicated in Diagnostic Circuit Check chart, and after the repair of a circuit. To clear trouble codes, the fused 12-volt source to ECM must be disconnected for 10 seconds by disconnecting the positive battery terminal or removing the "ECM B" fuse at the fuse panel.
