Intermittent Failures

Intermittent failures may cause MIL to flicker or illuminate and go out about 10 seconds after the intermittent fault goes away. The corresponding trouble code, however, will be retained in control module memory. If related fault does not reoccur within 50 engine restarts, it will be erased from ECM memory.
