Charge Indicator Light Always On
- Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect generator connector. Turn ignition on. If charge indicator light does not illuminate, go to next step. If charge indicator light illuminates, go to step 3).
- Replace generator. See GENERATOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system.
- Check for short circuit in Red wire between generator and instrument cluster. Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Recheck system.
