Programming BCM

NOTE: Use of Tech 2 scan tool is recommended for programming BCM. A generic scan tool may not be capable of performing all necessary programming functions. Refer to scan tool manufacturer's instructions.
  1. Ensure battery is fully charged. Turn ignition on. Program BCM using scan tool. Refer to Techline(R) terminal and equipment user's instructions.
  2. If BCM fails to program, check all connections. Ensure latest software version for scan tool is used. Retry programming BCM. If programming fails again, replace BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
