Installation Procedure
- Install the fuel pressure sensor (1). Refer to Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Replacement (Cab/Chassis) , Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Replacement (Rear Tank) .
- Install the fuel level sensor (3). Refer to Fuel Level Sensor Replacement (Rear Tank) , Fuel Level Sensor Replacement (Except Utility) .
- Install a new fuel strainer (2) in the same position as noted during disassembly. Push the strainer on the bottom of the fuel sender until the strainer is fully seated.
- Install the fuel sender assembly. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement .
IMPORTANT:
Always install a new fuel strainer when replacing the fuel tank fuel pump module.
