Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the wiring harness connector (1) from the KS (2).
    3. Fig 1: Locating Knock Sensor 1

  3. Remove the KS (2) from the engine block.
