Removal Procedure

Loosen the clamp (3) on the air duct (2) at the throttle body.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor (4).

Loosen the 4 fasteners (8) securing the air cleaner housing top cover (4).
Lift and rotate the top cover (4) of the air cleaner housing to gain access to the air filter element.
Lift out the air filter element (5).
Inspect the air filter element for the following:
- Dust
- Dirt
- Water
Clean or replace the air filter element if required.
