Installation Procedure

Install new gaskets (1) and (6).
Install the EGR valve pipe (3)
Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the retaining bolts (2).

Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
Install the bolt (4) to the right side head.
Tighten

Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Install the nuts (5) to exhaust manifold
Tighten

Tighten the nuts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
