Installation Procedure

  1. Install the new O-ring on the ESO solenoid.
    NOTE: Refer to COMPONENT FASTENER TIGHTENING NOTICE .
  2. Install the ESO solenoid in the injection pump.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the solenoid (external hex or internal hex) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the ESO electrical connector.
  4. Start the engine and check for leaks.
