Removal Procedure

Remove the upper intake manifold cover.

Open the air bleed valve on top of the fuel manager/filter to release any pressure in the fuel supply system.

Remove the mounting bolts that connect the fuel manager/filter to the intake manifold.

Remove the wiring harnesses and fuel hoses.
Remove the fuel manager/filter by lifting straight up.

Remove the fuel heater threaded cap nut by using hand pressure or a strap wrench.
Remove the fuel heater from the filter housing.
Clean the fuel heater to housing sealing surfaces.
