Removal Procedure
- Drain the fuel below the level of the fuel filler hose. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining Procedure .
- Remove the fuel fill pipe housing to fuel fill pipe bolts.
- Remove the fuel fill pipe ground strap screw.
- Raise the vehicle.
- Disconnect the fuel fill hose from the fuel tank.

- Disconnect the vent hose from the fuel tank.

- Remove the fuel fill (2) and vent pipe and hose (1) assembly.
- Cap the open end of the fuel tank.
