Installation Procedure

Install the air cleaner housing by pressing downward on the housing until the grommets are seated on the mounting studs.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the air cleaner housing mounting nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Mass Air Flow (MAF) Handling Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Insert the MAF sensor into the air cleaner housing cover.
Secure the air cleaner housing to the MAF sensor.
Tighten: Tighten the MAF sensor clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
