Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: View Of Ignition Coil Wire At Distributor

  1. Disconnect the spark plug wires and ignition coil wire from the distributor. Refer to Spark Plug Wire Replacement .

  3. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor harness connector from the distributor.

  5. Remove the distributor cap screws.

  7. Remove the distributor cap.

  9. Remove the rotor screws.

  13. Align the square slot in the reluctor wheel with the CMP sensor.
