Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the fuel fill and vent pipes and hoses to the fuel tank and the fill pipe housing.
Tighten:
- Tighten the vent hose clamp (1) to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in).
- Tighten the fuel fill hose clamp (2) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

Connect the fill pipe ground strap to the frame with the bolt (4) and washer (3).
Tighten: Tighten the ground strap bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
Lower the vehicle.

Install the fuel fill pipe to fill pipe housing attaching screws.
Tighten: Tighten the fuel fill pipe to fill pipe housing screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
Install the fuel filler cap.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Inspect for leaks.
