Installation Procedure
- Install Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module Bracket. Refer to Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module Bracket Replacement
- Install Electronic Brake Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Assembly (1)
- Install and tighten Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Bolt (1) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Install and tighten Left Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
- Install and tighten Right Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
- Install and tighten Right Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
- Install and tighten Left Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
- Connect the EBCM electrical connector.
- Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Master Cylinder Reservoir Rear Pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Master Cylinder Reservoir Rear Pipe Replacement
- Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Master Cylinder Reservoir Front Pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Master Cylinder Reservoir Front Pipe Replacement
- Reposition and install the radiator surge tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LGX with V08)Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LCV)
- Bleed the brake system. Refer to Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed
- Program the EBCM. Refer to Control Module References
- Center the steering angle sensor. Refer to Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Centering
