Preliminary Procedures Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Remove the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LCV)
1	Vacuum Pump Fasteners (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Vacuum Pump Procedure Lubricate the vacuum pump seal with clean engine oil. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers . NOTE: Inspect the vacuum pump seal and replace as necessary.
3	Vacuum Pump Gasket Procedure Inspect the vacuum pump gasket and replace as necessary.
