Reprogram Control Module

To reprogram an existing control module, or if a new steering gear assembly has been installed, perform the following procedure:

1. Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
2. On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select K43 Power Steering Control Module - Programming and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF. It may take up to 2 minutes for all vehicle systems to power down.
4. Ignition ON.
5. On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select K43 Power Steering Control Module - Setup and Configuration and follow the on-screen instructions.
6. Clear DTCs.
