Circuit/System Description

This document covers the diagnostics for the Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery DC Charger Coupler Temperature Sensors. The X98 Hybrid/EV Battery Charger Receptacle contains 2 temperature sensors for the DC Charging port. In order to diagnose issues with the sensors, the K16A Battery Energy Control Module 1 compares values from the 2 DC temperature sensors to determine if there are any issues with the X98 Hybrid Electrical Vehicle Battery Charger Receptacle. If the K16A Battery Energy Control Module 1 detects an issue it may disable DC charging until the DTC set is cleared.
