Circuit/System Description

The status of charging events (including delays) is communicated to the user through various vehicle plug-in charge status indicators and audio tones. The primary vehicle plug-in charge port status indicator, located on the receptacle, contains an LED ring (charge status indicator) controlled by the body control module (BCM) and is not user configurable. A secondary, user-configurable headlight charge status indicator utilizes light bars within the headlamp assemblies to convey charge status and is controlled by the lighting control module.
