Circuit/System Verification
- Vehicle in Service Mode.
- Verify that DTC U135B is not set.
- If DTC U135B is set
Refer to DTC U1300-U1344 or U134A-U14FF .
- Go to next step: If DTC U135B is not set
- If DTC U135B is set
- Verify no other Hybrid/Electric Vehicle battery-related DTCs are set.
- If any hybrid/EV battery-related DTCs are set
- Go to next step: If no hybrid/EV battery-related DTCs are set
- Vehicle OFF. Ensure the charge cord is not connected to the vehicle.
- Verify the vehicle charge indicator is OFF.
- If the vehicle charge indicator is not OFF
Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the vehicle charge indicator is OFF
- If the vehicle charge indicator is not OFF
- Connect the charge cord.
- Verify the vehicle charge indicator is operating properly.
- If the vehicle charge indicator is pulsing red
Refer to Plug-In Charging Malfunction (AC Charging) , or Plug-In Charging Malfunction (DC Charging)
- If the vehicle charge indicator is not operating properly
- Vehicle ON.
- Verify the Charge Cord Connected message is displayed in the instrument panel/message center.
- If the Charge Cord Connected message is displayed, refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the Charge Cord Connected message is NOT displayed
- Refer to Plug-In Charging Malfunction (AC Charging) , or Plug-In Charging Malfunction (DC Charging) .
NOTE:Vehicle must be ON and not in Service Mode for message operation.
- Go to next step: If the vehicle charge indicator is operating properly
- If the vehicle charge indicator is pulsing red
- All OK.
