Removal Procedure
- Disable the high voltage system. High Voltage Disabling
Position the accessory power receptacle door to the full open position.
- Using a trim type tool, release the retainers on the accessory power receptacle door (1) from the housing.
Apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces.
- Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.
- Charge Port Housing (1) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Rear Wheelhouse Liner- Left Side (3) - Remove - Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
High Voltage Battery Tray Reinforcement Nut (1) - Remove [6x]
- High Voltage Battery Tray Reinforcement Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
High Voltage Battery Tray Reinforcement Bolt (1) - Remove [16x]
With the aid of an assistant, remove the high voltage battery tray lower rear reinforcement (1).
Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Coolant Outlet Hose (1) - Disconnect
- Disconnect the electrical connectors. (2)
- Remove the battery charger coupler retainer (3).
Remove the drive motor battery charger receptacle coolant outlet hose retainers (1).
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Coolant Outlet Hose (2) - Reposition
Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)
- Retainer (2) - Remove [5x]
Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Coolant Inlet Hose (1) - Disconnect [3x]
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Bolt (2) - Remove
- Remove the battery charger coupler retainers (3).
Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Battery Charger Coupler (2) - Disengage
Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Remove the battery charger coupler retainers (2).
