Repair Procedures: Installation
CAUTION:
- Install the component with the specified torques.
- Note that internal damage may occur if the component drops. In this case, use it after inspecting.
CAUTION:
- DON'T use a cleaner, spray, or grease to sensing element and connector of the sensor because oil component in them may cause malfunction of the sensor performance.
- Sensor and its wiring may be damaged in case of contacting with the exhaust system (Exhaust Manifold, Catalytic Converter, and so on).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Heated oxygen sensor installation:
35.3 ~ 45.1 N.m (3.6 ~ 4.6 kgf.m, 26.0 ~ 33.3 lb-ft)
