Repair Procedures: Removal

CAUTION:

Put on gloves before removing/installing the drive unit.
Do not install or carry a push rod, controller and wire harnesses by holding it with bare hands.
Be careful when removing the push rod, the trunk may close.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the left trunk trim after opening the trunk.
(Refer to TRUNK TRIM Body )
Separate the power trunk module push rod pin (A) and then remove the power trunk module connecting rod (B).
