Repair Procedures: Removal

NOTE:

Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Remove the fastener (A) and mounting bolt (B) of the parking release cable.
Tightening Torque:

12.7 - 15.7 N.m (1.3 - 1.6 kgf.m, 9.4 - 11.6 lb-ft)

Remove the floor console.
(Refer to Body - "FLOOR CONSOLE ")
Disconnect the parking release actuator connector (A) and mounting clips (B) of the wiring.

Remove mounting bolts (A) of the parking release actuator.
Tightening Torque:

8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb-ft)

Remove the parking release actuator & cable.
