Repair Procedures: Installation

Install the parking switch. When installing, tighten the inhibitor assembly mounting bolts (A) loosely to allow any necessary adjustments to be made.

Install the parking release lever (B).
Install the SST No.: 09480-D2100 or 0.1969in. (5mm) bolt after setting parking release lever (B) in the "P".

Tighten mounting nut (A) of the parking release lever to the specified torque.
Tightening Torque:

13.7 - 17.7 N.m (1.4 - 1.8 kgf.m, 10.1 - 13.0 lb-ft)
Tighten the bolt (B) to the specified torque.
Tightening Torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)

Remove the SST No.: 09480-D2100 or 0.1969in. (5mm) bolt.
Install the cross member (A).

Install the parking release cable by installing the fastener (A).
Connect the inhibitor switch connector (B).

Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
