Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Backup oil-pressure characteristics of old TCM in the GDS.

  2. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  3. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  4. Remove the cover (A) after removing the clips.

  5. Disconnect the ECM connector (A) and TCM connector (B).

  6. Remove the TCM & ECM after removing the bolts (A) and nut (B).

    Tightening Torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)

  7. Remove the TCM (B) after removing the nuts (A).
