Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  3. Disconnect the EWGA connector .
  4. Remove the exhaust manifold heat protector.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "EXHAUST MANIFOLD ")

  5. Remove the shaft link assembly after removing the C-ring .
  6. Remove the EWGA after removing the bolts .
CAUTION:
  • When carrying the turbocharger, do not hold the rod of the turbocharger to prevent bending the rod.
