Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Remove the LH front muffler.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "MUFFLER ")
- Remove the knock sensor bracket after loosening the mounting bolt (A).
- Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (A).
- Remove the installation bolt (B), and then vertically remove the sensor from the transaxle housing.
