Repair Procedures: Inspection

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition.
  2. Disconnect the HO2S connector.
  3. Measure resistance between the HO2S terminals 2 and 5. [Bank 1/Sensor1, Bank2/Sensor1]

    Measure resistance between the HO2S terminals 1 and 2. [Bank 1/Sensor2, Bank2/Sensor2]

  4. Check that the resistance is within the specification.

    Specification: 

    2.4 - 4.0Ω [20°C (68°F)] [Bank 1/Sensor1, Bank2/Sensor1]

    3.3 - 4.1Ω [20°C (68°F)] [Bank 1/Sensor2, Bank2/Sensor2]
