Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality Check
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty EWGA circuit
  3. Faulty EWGA
Enable Condition
  • Normal battery voltage (10 to 16V)
  • West Gate Actuator (EWGA) target value is less than 0.1%
Threshold Value
  • When the EWGA position sensor voltage is greater than 2.14V or less than 0.34V in the closed state (abnormal sensor signal)
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
