Repair Procedures: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedures.

NOTE: * Install the propeller shaft to be near runout marking (B) (Transfer output shaft assembly (A), propeller shaft 1ea) each other.

CAUTION: In case of replacing the controller (ECU) and transfer case due to changing characteristics of the frictional materials inside the transfer case, it is necessary to check and enter the calibration data.

The calibration procedure is not required in case of replacing the transfer case and MSE-I (ECU) at the same time.
In case of replacing the transfer case assembly only, perform the clutch learning reset in the MSE-I (ECU).

In case of replacing the MSE-I (ECU) only, perform the clutch learning back-up and writing in the new transfer case ITA (ECU) using diagnostic tool equipment.
