Repair Procedures: Removal
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves before removing/installing the drive unit.
- Do not install or carry a push rod, controller and wire harnesses by holding it with bare hands.
- Be careful when removing the push rod, the trunk may close.
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the luggage side trim.
(Refer to Body - "LUGGAGE SIDE TRIM ")
- Disconnect the control unit connector (A).
- Remove the drive unit (A) after loosening mounting bolts.
- Disconnect the spring (A) and then remove the power trunk drive unit.
