Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the trunk lid trim after opening the trunk.

    (Refer to Body - "TRUNK LID TRIM ")

  3. Separate the power latch connector (A) and power latch cable (B).

  4. Loosen the mounting bolts, remove the power trunk latch assembly (A).

  5. Remove the cinching actuator from the power trunk latch assembly.
