Repair Procedures: Installation
- Lightly tighten the nut (A) and the bolts (B) after installing the parking switch.
- Align the hole in the parking release lever with the "P" position hole of the parking switch and then insert the SST parking switch guide pin (09480-D2100) (A).
- Tighten the parking switch mounting nut (A) and the bolts (B).
Tightening torque:
- 16.7 - 25.5 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 lb-ft)
- 9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Remove the SST parking switch guide pin (09480-D2100) (A).
- Tighten the fastener after installing the parking cable (A) from the parking release lever.
- Connect the parking switch connector (A).
- Tighten the bolts (A) and nuts (B) and then Install the transmission bracket (C).
Tightening torque:
- 42.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.3 - 5.5 kgf.m, 31.1 - 39.8 lb-ft)
- 39.2 - 46.1 N.m (4.0 - 4.7 kgf.m, 28.9 - 34.0 lb-ft)

- Install the rear propeller shaft assembly.
(Refer to Driveshaft and Axle - "REAR PROPELLER SHAFT ")
- Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
