Repair Procedures: Removal
- Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the rear-left wheel & tire.
(Refer to Suspension System - "TIRES/WHEELS ")
- Remove the rear-left wheel guard.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "REAR WHEEL GUARD ")
- Disconnect the vapor hose quick-connector (A).
- Disconnect the vent hose quick-connector (B).
- Remove the fuel tank air filter bracket (A) after loosening the bolts.
Tightening torque:
9.8 - 11.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.6 lb.ft)
- Remove the fuel tank air filter (A) by rotating it 30 degrees.
- Disconnector the canister close valve connector (A).
- Remove the Canister Close Valve (A) by rotating it about 30°.
